Injury Crash Involving Semi Shuts Down EB I-44 Near Luther

An injury wreck involving a tractor trailer and a car shut down both eastbound lanes of Interstate 44 at mile marker 155 for over an hour on Saturday afternoon.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers had to divert traffic at the Luther exit while crews worked to clear the highway of the wreckage.

The cause of the crash is not known at this time and it is unclear how many people were injured, or the severity of the injuries.

Troopers have since re-opened the highway.
