Police Confirm Identity Of Man Found Dead In NE OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY -

Oklahoma City Police have confirmed 22-year-old Prentice Williams was the man found dead Tuesday afternoon in a vacant lot in the 1600 block of N.E. 16th Terrace.

Williams' family hadn't seen him since Friday, June 7. They reported him missing Tuesday morning, and went out to search for him.

Family members located Williams' body around 4 p.m. in a field in the middle of a neighborhood. Police are investigating his death as a homicide.

It's not known yet how Williams died. The State Medical Examiner's Office is conducting an autopsy to determine a cause of death.
