Two suspected killers caught with a pocket full of evidence. Now court documents reveal more about what led to up to the killing.

Investigators say the victim mistakenly walked into the suspects' motel room - a move that truly put Sam Brock in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Chandler Police found Sam Brock dead inside his room at the Lincoln Motel. Evidence collected at the crime scene also pointed them to another room previously occupied by Dominique Gill and Keven Hallmark.

The two suspects left only a bloody hand print behind.

"I think it was purely a crime of viciousness," Lincoln County District Attorney Richard Smothermon described how investigators believe Gill and Hallmark killed the victim, "put him in a headlock and kicked him in the face and then cut his throat."

Investigators say they found blood on both suspects.

"They could not have committed that crime and not got a large amount of blood on you based upon the cut, so it will definitely tie them to it," he said.

Investigators say the alleged killers also stole the victims truck - Dominique Gill wrecked the truck a short time later in the Tulsa area but claimed he did not know how he got there.

Before hauling Gill off in hands cuffs, investigators also searched his pockets finding a bottle of hydrocodone, a knife and a key to the victim's motel room.

Although the suspects stole several items from the victim the motive remains unclear. District Attorney Richard Smothermon says it appears to be a crime of opportunity. Charges are pending - both men are being held without bond.
