An Oklahoma City woman was arrested after police say she attacked a teenager with a wooden stick late Monday night.

According to police, officers responded to the incident just before midnight, in the 11000 block of S.W. 16th Street in Oklahoma City. The 17-year-old victim told police he saw the suspect, 47-year-old Lisa Gutierrez, chase some kids with a wooden stick across the street.

The victim confronted Gutierrez and told her to stop, that's when Gutierrez hit the victim on his right arm with the stick.

Police say Gutierrez had been drinking prior to the incident. She told officers that she was an alcoholic, and when she drinks as much as she did Monday night, she "blacks out." She said the last thing she remembered was cooking on the grill and drinking.

Gutierrez was taken into custody, and transported to the Oklahoma County Jail on several charges, including assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

Solon Quinn Ramsey, who lives with Gutierrez, was arrested for public drunkenness after police say he kept on cussing and screaming as officers investigated the incident.
