As rain pushes through, there are big concerns for flooding in several metro neighborhoods Tuesday morning. We sent News 9's Rusty Surette out to look for trouble spots.

Several cars were stalled in high water at S.W. 23rd and S. May Avenue at about 6 a.m. There were people trapped inside one vehicle. A passer-by pushed that vehicle out of the water with his pickup truck.

Police shut down that portion of May Avenue until water receded.

Emergency crews also responded to several accidents along Interstate 40 following the storms. One SUV spun out and hit the center barrier at I-40 and Meridian. No one was injured.

A semi-truck ran off the road on I-40, just east of the I-35 junction, Tuesday morning. Crews say the semi went into one of the deep water ditches.

New power outages have also been reported across the metro, as storms rolled in with intense cloud-to-ground lighting.
