The search continues for people washed away in the high waters. One family's search ended in heartbreak Monday.

Family and friends of the young children and three parents missing after Friday's storms have been actively searching the Deep Fork Creek for the last couple days. Monday, friends found the body of a little girl and are continuing their search for one more victim.

Crowds of friends and relatives of the seven missing family members hiked down steep terrain south of Interstate 44 eastbound to search for them.

"We try to do the best we can you know, help the families because I know the guy who passed away already, Samuel Cifuentes, and he's one of my best friends," says Susano Cifuentes, a friend of the family.

Around 1:15 Monday afternoon, two men from Guatemala discovered the body the family says is of a 7-year-old girl named Lesly.

"Almost like a toy, she was on the water like floating," Cifuentes said. "And these two guys found her two Guatemalan guys."

Friends found the little girl's two brothers, and three other relatives over the last two days after the family of seven took shelter from Friday's tornado in a drainage ditch near their home off N.W. 26th Street and Meridian.

Oklahoma City Fire sent in their divers and more crews and say they're thankful that the friends and family were relentless in their search.

"There was approximately 30 people out here searching, and they're doing an excellent job, there's no way we could have spared these kind of resources for this and still protect the city," said Mike Walker, Battalion Chief for OKC Fire Department.

"As they located this person, they notified us, and now they're continuing searching downstream along with our crews," he said.

Volunteers and fire crews will continue their search for one more family member they believe is the little girl's mother.
