Another stormy pattern is setting up across Oklahoma.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect for western Oklahoma until 11:00 PM. Storms are developing in the OK/TX panhandles and will move southeast into the watch area. Storms will be capable of golf ball size hail and wind gusts in excess of 70 mph. The tornado threat is very low today. Overnight showers and storms are expected to weaken and move into central Oklahoma. Rain will come to an end by mid-morning Tuesday.

After Friday's record rainfall, the ground is still saturated here in the OKC Metro, and flooding could become a problem tonight lasting through the morning commute.

Tuesday another round of storms will develop in western Oklahoma after 4:00 PM. These storms are expected to move into central Oklahoma Tuesday evening. The threat Tuesday will again be large hail, damaging winds, and flash flooding. The tornado threat will be low, but not zero.

More rain and thunderstorm activity is likely again on Wednesday as a cold front moves in from the north. Wednesday could pose yet again, a flash flood threat.
