Some of the hardest hit buildings by a tornado in Moore are scheduled to be demolished.

On Wednesday, crews began leveling and removing Plaza Towers Elementary School, where seven children died during the Monday, May 20 tornado. Briarwood Elementary School also is slated to be torn the rest of the way down on Thursday.

Officials say the Moore Medical Center also will be removed. A decision to rebuild a new community hospital hasn't been decided yet.
