Tulsa Police squads were  involved in a standoff at Wimbledon Place apartments near East 51st Street and South Memorial Drive.

Several Special Ops team members were on scene carrying lethal and non-lethal weapons such as Airsoft rifles loaded with pepper balls.

They took a man into custody at about 9:30 a.m.

The man has been identified as Brad Alan Fyffe, 49. Fyffe is in Tulsa County Jail on two complaints of pointing a firearm with intent and one complaint of obstructing justice.

According to TPD, the issue began with some neighbors making noise and disturbing the suspect.

Fyffe confronted the neighbors, and when they wouldn't comply with the request to be quiet, he brought out a gun, cocked it and pointed it at one of the neighbors, according to police.

Teams were in surrounding streets with a perimeter set up near 74th East Ave and 49th Place.

Fyffe is being held on a $40,500 bond.
