Barons Win In Grand Rapids, Tie Western Conference Finals 1-1

The Barons scored three goals in the third period to tie the Western Conference Finals at 1-1. <br />

The Oklahoma City Barons tied their Western Conference Finals series with the Griffins at one game apiece with a 4-2 win in Grand Rapids on Saturday night.

Mark Arcobello, C.J. Stretch and Teemu Hartikainen (2) each had goals for Oklahoma City. Goaltender Yann Danis stopped 20 of the 22 shots he faced for the win

The game was tied 1-1 entering the third period, but the Barons exploded for three goals to seize the crucial road victory. 

The series now shifts to Oklahoma City for Games 3, 4 and 5 (if necessary). Game 3 is Wednesday, May 29, while Game 4 is Friday, May 31. Should the series require a Game 5, it would be Saturday, June 1. All three games in Oklahoma City will be played at the Cox Convention Center at 7 p.m.

For Game 3, any person that brings a legitimate donation to the United Way OK Strong Disaster Relief Fund can enjoy the Barons game for free.
