On Friday night, one family is making sure they get the word out about the importance of getting a storm shelter, and heeding Gary's warnings.

Looking out at all the devastation in Moore, it's a wonder anyone made it out alive, especially if they were not underground. James Trumbly and his wife were in a closet when the tornado flattened their home.

James Trumbly still can't believe what he sees in front of him. His home is gone, his truck is tossed, but somehow he and his wife are alive. Trumbly says he was watching news 9 when the tornado hit.

Trumbly says he never thought he would need to go underground to seek shelter from a storm. But he says he's learned his lesson and wants everyone to do the same. As it turns out, his neighbor had an underground cellar just a few houses down. Trumbly says next time he'll know to get it one right away.

Both James and Shirley Trumbly were treated and released from the hospital but they are walking and talking and living proof that miracles do happen, but they do not plan to tempt fate ever again. They do plan to get a storm cellar in their next home.
