9-Year-Old Tornado Victim Laid To Rest; Motorcyclists, Strangers Show Support

A 9-year-old boy, who was killed as a massive tornado tore across Moore Monday afternoon, has been laid to rest. Hundreds of motorcycle riders showed up at his funeral to show support for his family and protect them from protestors.

The funeral for 9-year-old Nicolas McCabe was held at First Baptist Church in Moore Friday morning. Hundreds of motorcycle riders and other strangers showed their respect and support for the McCabe family.

The bikers and strangers defended the doors of the church, as they stood in silence.

McCabe's family was concerned protestors may show up at the church. But, all these supporters were not going to let that happen.

An EF-5 tornado touched down near Newcastle just before 3 p.m. Monday, and tore across the Moore and southwest Oklahoma City areas. Twenty-four people have been killed and hundreds were injured. The Tornado destroyed and damaged over 12,000 house in its path.
