Police are asking for the public's help in identifying two suspects wanted in connection with an auto burglary and attempting to pass a stolen check.

According to a police report, the victim reported her car was burglarized on Thursday, May 2 at 4312 N.W. 50th Street. The victim told police she thought she had forgotten to lock her car that her checkbook had been stolen. The apartment complex captured video surveillance of two suspects getting into the victim's car.

The victim also told police that she received a call from First Commercial Bank located at 7308 N.W. Expressway, alerting her that someone was trying to use one of her checks and wrote it out to themselves.

The bank gave the victim a copy of the check the suspects were trying to cash. Police say the bank also had the Oklahoma driver's license that the suspect tried using.

The bank told the victim the ID card the suspects tried to use appeared to be of a black man, noting the suspects were both white. The bank did not cash the check.

Anyone who recognizes the suspects should contact Crime Stoppers 405-235-7300. Callers can remain anonymous, and may be eligible for a cash reward.
