19-Year-Old Woman Charged In Murder Of OKC Doctor

A 19-year-old woman is charged in the stabbing death of an Oklahoma City doctor.

The District Attorney's office filed a first-degree murder charge against Jamie Lea Walker in the death of 59-year-old Deepak Bhasin.

Bhasin was found stabbed to death inside his home located at 15800 San Nicholas Drive in northwest Oklahoma City on Tuesday, December 11, 2012. The medical examiner's office said Bhasin had been stabbed multiple times.

Police issued an arrest warrant for Walker back in April after gathering evidence inside Bhasin's home including a cell phone used by Walker. Court documents show Walker sent a text message to Bhasin to set up a meeting with him and another person.

Less than an hour later, Bhasin was found dead inside his home. Walker is being held in the Oklahoma County Jail with no bond.
