A truck loaded with cinder blocks crashed Wednesday morning on I-244, spilling the blocks and injuring the driver.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the crash happened on the shoulder just east of the Utica exit.

EMSA took the driver to the hospital. There is no word on his condition.

Troopers say the driver swerved to avoid a ladder in the road, causing the truck to roll onto its side.

The crash closed two outside lanes while crews removed the truck and cleaned up the shattered blocks.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
