A graffiti eye-sore in Oklahoma City will soon be gone.
A group with Oklahoma County known as SHINE (Start Helping Impacted Neighborhoods Everywhere) received permission Thursday to clean up the graffiti on the retaining walls along I-40 near Western Avenue.
The graffiti has been there for months forcing residents to complain. The delay in the cleanup process was partly because of confusion over who should clean it up, the city or the Oklahoma Department of Transportation.

ODOT said the retaining walls around the I-40 have a special anti-graffiti coating, so cleanup shouldn't be difficult.
