Arrest Made In Connection With Love County Double Homicide

Agents with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, along with the Love County Sheriff's office, have made an arrest in connection to the deaths of an elderly brother in sister, found dead by a hunter on Friday, May 3.

Agents with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, along with the Love County Sheriff's office, have made an arrest in connection to the deaths of an elderly brother in sister, found dead by a hunter on Friday, May 3.

Agents arrested 65-year-old Aaron Carlile for the deaths of Thomas Culwell , 78, and Almenia Culwell, 80.

A hunter discovered the bodies of the elderly brother and sister on some land in rural Love County, on the night of Friday, May 3. Investigators say the two were repairing a fence on their property when they were shot to death.

Authorities say Carlile is the son-in-law of Thomas Culwell and that he lived on the property where the homicides took place.

Agents are still investigating the case.  No other information is known at this time.
