Three Oklahoma City police officers are recovering from minor injuries after a shoot-out with a suspect in a deadly triple shooting.

Around 10:30 p.m. Monday, police tracked 24-year-old Keenan Lamar Leake to the Executive Inn on Interstate 35 near S.E. 34th Street. Detectives say Leake shot three people in December 2012 at the Pulse Events Center near Northwest Expressway and Rockwell.

Nicholas Sweet and Raymond Huddleston died from gunshot wounds. A third man was also shot but survived.

Police found Leake at the southeast Oklahoma City motel, but he did not surrender without a fight. Police say Leake shot from his room at officers using a stolen semi-automatic pistol. Three officers returned fire from the second-story balcony doorway.

Officers managed to take Leake into custody. No one was shot, but the three officers who returned fire were injured, along with a supervisor who was standing nearby.

The officers were treated at a metro hospital and released.
