For the second week in a row, and fourth time this season, the Oklahoma softball team has swept the weekly conference honors, the Big 12 announced Tuesday.

Sophomore Shelby Pendley was named the Big 12 Player of the Week, while senior pitcher Keilani Ricketts was chosen as Pitcher of the Week.

It's the third time in Pendley's career that she has been named Player of the Week and the second time in the last three weeks. Ricketts, who has now been named the top pitcher in consecutive weeks, has been recognized five times this year and 16 times in her career.

The Sooners have won 13 of the 24 honors handed out by the Big 12 this season.

Pendley continued her hot hitting last week as she helped No. 1 Oklahoma to a 4-0 record with a midweek win over North Texas and a sweep of Iowa State. Pendley hit .615 and led the Sooners with eight hits, two doubles, three home runs, 16 runs batted in and a 1.462 slugging percentage in four games.

In a 12-1 win at North Texas, she went 2-4, scoring two runs and driving in four. In the second inning, she hit a three-run home run and added an RBI single in the sixth.

Facing Iowa State, Pendley drove in five runs as OU set a school record with 24 runs in a 24-1 win over the Cyclones. Pendley was 1-2 with two runs scored and five RBI, four of which came on her first grand slam as a Sooner in the first inning.

Pendley was 3-4 with six RBI in Saturday's 8-0 win, driving in a run in every at-bat. A three-run homer marked her fourth straight game with a home run to tie the school record. After a two-run RBI double in the second, Pendley lined a single off the wall with the bases loaded in the fifth inning to pick up her sixth RBI of the contest and end the game via run rule.

In the finale, Pendley was 2-3 with 2 runs scored, including an RBI double.

In her last 12 games, Pendley is hitting .556 (20-36) with a .636 OBP and 1.500 slugging percentage. She's hit 10 home runs in that span with 31 RBI, 18 runs scored, four doubles, seven walks and two stolen bases.

Ricketts was 2-0 with a 0.64 ERA and capped the week with her school record fifth no-hitter of the year against Iowa State.

The week started with a 12-1, six-inning win at North Texas. Ricketts struck out six in four innings as she walked one and allowed just three hits.

Ricketts got the start in the circle on Saturday and pitched the first two innings before leaving with OU on top 23-0. She struck out four and walked two.

Ricketts finished the week with the fifth no-hitter of her career and her fourth this season, both school records. She struck out 10 and walked two with one hit batter as she improved to 24-1 on the year.

Oklahoma continues play this weekend at Kansas. The series begins on Friday with a doubleheader at 2 p.m. and concludes with a noon contest on Saturday.
