OKC Police Identify Body Found Near Lake Overholser

OKLAHOMA CITY -

Police have released the name of a woman whose body was found Saturday by a cleanup crew working near Lake Overholser.

The woman has been identified as 22-year-old Karen Natalia De Leon of Oklahoma City. De Leon's mother reported her missing April 6. The woman's body was found April 20 in the 6900 block of N. Morgan Road.

It's not yet known how she died. The Medical Examiner's Office is conducting an autopsy to determine a cause of death.

Police are hoping someone will come forward with more information about De Leon's death. Anyone with information is asked to call the Homicide Tip Line at (405) 297-1200.
