The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports two people died Saturday night in a head-on collision on Highway 177 in Noble County.

According to an OHP accident report, the crash happened around 10:50 p.m., just north of County Road Shiloh, six miles east and nearly two miles south of Red Rock.

Troopers report the 2009 Honda Pilot, driven by 40-year-old Jessica Balman, of Ponca City, crossed the center line and hit a pickup truck pulling a travel trailer head-on. The truck then went off the road and caught fire, the report states.

The pickup was driven by 58-year-old Karen Quinn, of Jacksonville, Arkansas.

Both drivers were pinned for over an hour and both were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

The passenger in the pickup, Rosetta Nelson, 83, was flown to a hospital in Oklahoma City and admitted in stable condition.
