On Monday, we remember the first anniversary of the deadly Woodward tornado. We've been covering stories as the community rebuilds, physically and emotionally.

One of the remarkable stories we heard is the one of the pregnant woman who was tossed around inside her mobile home. She not only survived the storm, but moments later gave birth to a baby girl.

The story surrounding Logan Pierce's birth gets more remarkable with time.

Logan's mother, Amber, was nearly nine months pregnant on April 15 when the twister grabbed hold.

"I didn't realize it was a tornado until we were rolling," Amber said.

Amber and her family were inside their mobile home when the tornado hit. They figure they flipped around eight times.

At the hospital, they would learn of the six people who died, four of them died there.

Moments later, Logan was introduced the world. And Mom would eventually learn about complication that would have come has she not given birth when she did.

"He said it was actually a good thing that the tornado had happened, because they say I would have lost her or more or both, if I had gone full term," Amber said.

Logan turns one on April 15. She is still healthy. still dancing to Gaga, and for years to come, will remain unaware of the chaotic circumstances surrounding her birth.

"When I look at her and see what happened, I think of it was a blessing, as a true gift from god," Amber said.
