Owasso Police: Three Arrested For Stealing Diapers And Beer

Owasso Police arrested three Tulsa men Thursday on grand larceny complaints after, police say, they stole diapers, beer and laundry soap.

Jail records state Christopher Payne, 25, Gregory Harris, 18, and Caleek Moore, 19, were observed by Walmart security personnel leaving the store with large amounts of Pampers, Tide laundry detergent, beer and other grocery items without paying.

Police say the men first attempted to leave the Owasso's store east entrance but were stopped by a greeter after failing to show a receipt. The store called police after the three exited the west doors a few minutes later.

Police apprehended the three as they were loading the merchandise into a car.

Owasso Police say the total value of the merchandise was $555.39.

Payne, Harris and Moore were booked into the Tulsa County jail. Jail records show all three have a court hearing for April 18, 2013.
