Tulsa Man Arrested On Sexual Abuse Complaint

Employees at a Tulsa charter school called police Wednesday after a 15-year-old student told them she'd been sexually abused by a family member for years.

After investigating, police took 63-year-old Don Leonard into custody.

According to Tulsa County Jail records, the teen told investigators Leonard had repeatedly molested her over the past two years.

Police searched Leonard's home, confiscating a cell phone, a computer and other evidence.

Leonard was questioned and arrested.

Records show Leonard admitted to molesting the girl since she was 10 years old and had taken nude pictures of her.

Don Leonard was booked into the Tulsa County jail on a complaint of sexual abuse of a minor.

The Department of Human Services took the teen and her younger sibling into protective custody. 

Bond for Don Leonard is $50,000. He has a court appearance set for April 17, 2013. .
