Former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, who died Monday at age 87, left a mark on the Oklahoma business community. The Iron Lady visited Tulsa twice for the Oklahoma State University Spears School of Business speaker series, in 1993 and 2001.
The University made video available on Tuesday of Thatcher's 2001 appearance at the Tulsa Business Forum. She jokes that although the song claims it's only "Twenty Four Hours From Tulsa," it took her eight years to return.

Thatcher found a strong ally in U.S. President Ronald Reagan, and the pair led their countries through the changes and economic prosperity of the 1980s. She was the first and only female prime minister in British history.
She died of a stroke Monday morning at the Ritz hotel in London. A funeral will be held at St. Paul's Cathedral in London Wednesday, April 17.
