Driver Critically Injured In Drag Racing Crash Near OKC Lake

At least one person is hospitalized in critical condition after a crash during an apparent drag race early Monday morning near Lake Stanley Draper.

The crash happened on the northwest side of the lake, near Stanley Draper Drive and Midwest Boulevard.

Police say five cars were drag racing around 1 a.m. Monday. One of the cars ended up rolling over several times in a field, ejecting the driver. He was rushed to the hospital.

No names have been released.
