Police are investigating a shooting that left one man injured outside a club in northwest Oklahoma City early Sunday morning.
It happened just before 1 a.m. at Club Monet near N.W. 10th and MacArthur. Police say a man at the bar made threats towards the security guard, and even threatened to come back with a gun.
When the man returned, a security guard saw an object he believed to be a gun, and shot the suspect.
The man drove himself to the Deaconess hospital. He was later transported to the OU Medical Center and is expected to be okay, according to police.
Right now, police are questioning the security guard. He has not been arrested at this time.
The security guards at the club are CLEET-certified to carry guns.
