Authorities are looking for a suspect in an armed robbery of a northwest Oklahoma City bank Thursday morning.

Police responded to the robbery at the IBC Bank, located at 2301 N. Portland in Oklahoma City.

At about 9:20 a.m., according to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, a man armed with a weapon walked into the bank, yelling "put your hands up," and "give me all the money."

The suspect then approached the teller counter, and demanded money from all three tellers. The tellers complied with the suspect's request and placed the money in a plastic grocery bag.

The suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of money. While he was trying to leave, a portion of the money fell from the bag, onto the floor in front of the teller counter.

According to the FBI, the suspect then drove away in a 4-door Honda Accord, which was reported stolen. He reportedly abandoned the car about a block away from the bank. Agents believe the suspect was picked up by an accomplice at that location.

No one was injured during the incident.

The FBI released the following description of the suspect:

Black male, early 20's, 6'4"- 6'5", thin build, wearing a black hoodie jacket, designer jeans, dark gloves, carrying a small black revolver.

Agents with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and Oklahoma City police officers are investigating the robbery.

The method and suspect description in Thursday's robbery is similar to that in recent bank robberies in Bethany, Warr Acres, and Moore, Oklahoma, according to the FBI.

Anyone with information regarding this robbery should contact the FBI at (405)-290-7770.
