EDMOND, Oklahoma -

Police chased down a suspect who led them on a pursuit in Edmond.

It all began Monday afternoon when police say 19-year-old Jacob Tyler Williams was speeding on his motorcycle. As officers pulled him over, he took off. The brief pursuit ended just east of the 2nd Street and Coltrane intersection when Williams crashed his motorcycle going approximately 60 mph.

Williams ran into the woods to the south and through a neighborhood where officers found him in a business parking lot.

He was taken to OU Presbyterian for treatment of injuries he received in the crash. Williams was just arrested on Saturday, March 30, for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, public intoxication, possession of beer and resisting officers..
