OKLAHOMA CITY - Two people were killed in two separate accidents near Lake Stanley Draper, in southeast Oklahoma City, Friday afternoon.

First responders say the vehicle from the first accident was on fire when they arrived, right around 4 p.m. near SE 104th St. and E. Lake Stanley Draper Dr.

Two 17-year-old boys were in the first vehicle, a silver Mazda RX-8. According to police, the Mazda was driving a high rate of speed when the driver lost control and departed the roadway. The passenger was ejected and in critical condition when emergency crews arrived.

He died at the hospital from injuries suffered in the crash.

The driver of the silver Mazda was transported to the hospital in good condition. It is unclear at this time if charges will be filed.

The fire from the rolled vehicle set some of the grass in the area ablaze as well, but firefighters were able to quickly extinguish it.

Emergency responders were then called to a second accident involving a motorcycle on E. Lake Stanley Draper Dr. and Dam Rd., near SE 119th St.

According to police, a group of motorcyclists were traveling on the road when one of them, a 49-year-old female, struck a guardrail and crashed. Paramedics rushed to the scene in an attempt to revive the critically injured woman, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
