A young woman was robbed at gunpoint while leaving her job at a gentleman's club in northwest Oklahoma City, early Wednesday morning.

The masked man took her cash, her phone, even her truck and then told her to run for her life!

It all happened around 2 a.m. Wednesday in the parking lot outside Night Trips off Reno. The victim agreed to share her story if we agreed to shield her face and protect her identity.

"What I couldn't understand was why I got targeted," said the 19-year-old woman, who has worked at the club for more than a year.

She says she had just finished her shift at the club and was getting into her truck when it happened.

"I closed my door and I had this really uneasy feeling," she explained. "And I looked in my mirror, and I looked back, and I saw this person just coming up to my car."

She says she locked her door, but it didn't help.

"And he comes up to my door and he yanks it as hard as he can," she demonstrated. "He yanks it so hard, he rips the handle off!"

She says that's when he held a gun up to the window and forced her to unlock the door and give him all her cash and her phone.

"And he held a gun up to my head and said run or I'm going to blow your head off," recalled the 19-year-old victim.

She did and luckily made it back to the club unscathed.

"The only thing I was hoping was ‘Oh my God I hope he doesn't shoot me!'" she said.

Police later found her truck at the Travel Lodge, less than a mile away, and arrested 34-year-old Timothy Adam Whitt as he was checking into the motel.

"I'm glad he's behind bars," said the young woman. "And I hope he stays there. I hope it's not, he goes to jail for two days, and gets out."

Whitt is still behind bars at the Oklahoma County jail. His bond is set at $50,000 and he stands accused of robbery with a dangerous weapon.
