OKLAHOMA CITY - Wednesday morning, police arrested a 10th-grade student at Putnam City North High School who they say brought a handgun, ceremonial swords, a knife and fireworks to school.

The items were found in the student's backpack. After the arrest, police searched the school grounds and found several more items hidden under a grate. Those items included a bottle of lantern oil, a sock soaked in lantern oil, more fireworks and a fuse.

The student's name has not been released.
