Tulsa Police: Thief Yanks Woman From Car, Steals Her Purse

Tulsa Police are looking for a man armed with a handgun who pulled a 77-year-old woman from her car on March 11, 2013, stole her purse and then took off in another car.

The incident happened just after noon in restaurant parking lot in the 1400 block of South Memorial.

Police say surveillance video from a nearby business captured the car used by the thief. The car appears to be a silver Oldsmobile Alero.

The man is described as a tall black male in his 20s. He was dressed in black and wore a white mask. The driver of the getaway car was a female, and the surveillance video indicates there were two other people in the car.
