GRADY COUNTY, Oklahoma -

An Arcadia woman's family is accusing the Grady County Jail of losing her dentures and endangering her health, because she can no longer eat solid foods.

Sherry Redman's son, Bruce, was pulled over by Oklahoma County law enforcement on Feb. 8.

Bruce Redman was trying to get his mother's dentures to her, after she had been hospitalized in Edmond. Instead, he was booked into the Oklahoma County Jail because he had outstanding arrest warrants in Grady County.

When Bruce Redman was transferred to the Grady County Jail a week later, his family claims someone in the Grady County Jail misplaced his mother's dentures.

"If somebody dropped them or broke them, please let us know, because they are under warranty," 72-year-old Sherry Redman said.

The director of security at the Grady County Jail said when Bruce Redman was checked into jail, dentures were not among the items that were checked in. But the jail is still investigating.
