Bartlesville Man To Be Tried For Death Of 81-Year-Old Grandmother

BARTLESVILLE, Oklahoma -

A Bartlesville man accused of killing his 81-year-old grandmother has been bound over for a first degree murder trial, according to the Washington County court clerk.

Brandon Capp remains in custody on a $1 million bond. Capp was arrested in October of 2012 after Clara Jean Hammer was found dead in her home.

Capp was arrested getting into his grandmother's stolen car, less than a mile from the residence.

He had been living with his grandmother for a few weeks. His next court date is May 1, 2013.
