OKLAHOMA CITY -

Oklahoma City police team up with Cleveland County deputies in a massive search for clues near Lake Stanley Draper. This after a dog found the body of a newborn baby girl early Saturday morning.

We caught up with the dog and the woman who was housesitting for the dog’s owner.

“I hollered for him,” said the woman, who does not want to be identified. “He came across the pasture and I just thought he had a toy, and realized it was a newborn baby.”

She claims she immediately called 911, and did not touch the baby girl. She still can't believe Luke here found the deceased newborn, which still had the umbilical cord attached.

She is even more stunned that no one has come forward to claim her.

On Tuesday morning, Oklahoma City police were back in the area, going door-to-door,questioning neighbors about what they may have seen or heard. They also had the police helicopter scouring the area,

While Cleveland County Deputies on ATV's searched on the ground, they even set up this command post ina nearby neighborhood.

Neighbors like Jack Morrison don't mind.

“I just hope that the police can find somebody who maybe saw something suspicious and are able to track down who it was,” Morrison said.

Morrison says he's seen Luke here roam the area. And so has the house sitter.

“Him and about six other dogs roam about 40 acres through here,” said the house sitter. “Everyone knows everybody's dogs.”

But as for where Luke found the baby, that is still a mystery. Police even tried to get Luke and their cadaver dogs to try to lead them to the place where the baby was found.

But so far their attempts have turned up nothing.
