Danielle Conner.
BARTLESVILLE, Oklahoma -
The trial for a Dewey woman facing a child neglect charge ended before it barely got underway on Monday.
A mistrial was declared during opening statements of the trial for 25-year-old Danielle Conner. The judge sustained a motion by the state for a mistrial over a comment made by Conner's defense attorney.
This is the second mistrial for Conner. In August 2012, the judge ordered a mistrial after a Washington County jury came back deadlocked.
