CHOCTAW, Oklahoma -

One person has been hospitalized after a police chase ended with a serious crash in Choctaw.

Around 2:30 a.m., a resident called police to report a prowler in the neighborhood. When officers arrived, they saw two young females run to a car and drive away, without turning the car's headlights on.

Police pursued the car for about two miles before the driver lost control and crashed into a telephone pole at Reno and Henney Road.

The driver was flown by a medical helicopter to a hospital. While both the driver and passenger were hurt, their injuries are not life-threatening.

Their names have not been released.
