OKC Home Depot Employee Arrested For Embezzlement

OKLAHOMA CITY -

Police arrested a metro woman for stealing more than $2,300 in cash and gift cards from the Home Depot where she worked.

Officers say Shauviontaiye Lancaster would load gift cards without putting money for them in the register.

Lancaster reportedly would pocket money from customers, and she would ring up small dollar amounts, then put in a high dollar amount for change and pocket the difference.

When police took Lancaster into custody, they also found a small amount of cocaine in her purse.
