OKLAHOMA CITY -

Jarrad Garner thought the surveillance cameras outside his home near S.W. 119th and Rockwell would keep the thieves away. Early Sunday morning he realized he was wrong.

"As soon as I opened my door, I saw it had been ransacked," said Garner about the car break in that occurred around 4:15 a.m. Sunday.

Garner's surveillance video shows a man wearing what appears to be a hood using a flashlight to look inside an SUV parked in the driveway.

The metro father thinks his vehicle was locked. However, the video shows the suspect was able to get inside after several minutes.

The thief goes through the glove box, the center console, and the back seat before pocketing a few items including Garner's wallet.

Garner's credit card statements show the thieves made purchases at a McDonalds, a Wal-Mart on Tinker Diagonal, and even tried to buy $900 in western wear from Shelplers, but were denied.

The Oklahoma City father is going to the businesses where his credit cards were used to get better video of the suspects.

"They put a lot fear into out family coming to do this, so I can put my picture out and put that same fear into them about being caught, I'm going to do that." Garner said.
