OKLAHOMA CITY -

Oklahoma City Police asking for help from the public in an investigation of a possible abduction Sunday afternoon.

Witnesses tell police a silver Dodge Intrepid stopped on southwest 44th street, near Roosevelt Middle school around 2:30 p.m.

They say a teenager jumped out of the vehicle and tried to get away, but a man in the car was able to catch him. This happened twice, and eventually the man put something over the teenager's head and forced him into the trunk of the car.

Police say the victim was between 16 and 18 years old, around 5'8" and wearing royal blue pants and a dark shirt.

If you have any information, police ask that you call 911.
