OKLAHOMA CITY -

Oklahoma City police arrest a man accused of attacking another man over having to do the dishes.

Police responded to a home along S.W. 61st Street on Monday, March 4 just after 6 p.m. When they arrived, an officer found Tom Anthony Crimm, 54, standing in the street with a bloody face.

According to a police report, a man told officers Crimm came home from work and was mad that he had to do the dishes. When the victim told him to just forget about it, Crimm allegedly became angry and punched the victim in the face. That's when the victim went outside and called 911. The report states Crimm punched the victim two more times while he was on the phone with a 911 operator.

The victim told police he was forced to defend himself and punched Crimm several times in the face until he fell unconscious. When officers talked to Crimm, he told them he was "mad that he had to do the dishes after being at work all day" and that the victim "sits at home and does nothing all day." He said that made him mad, so he hit the victim.

Crimm was treated for lacerations, a broken nose and high blood pressure at Southwest Medical Center. Police then took him to the Oklahoma County Jail and booked him on complaints of domestic abuse and assault and battery.
