More than a dozen windshields are smashed out in northwest OKC. A man armed with a baseball bat goes on a violent rampage.

This happened overnight Tuesday at a car repair shop near N.W. 10th Street and Penn. Police are yet to catch the person responsible for all this damage.

This all happened at the Match Auto Body Shop at the corner of North Penn and West Park Place. The result of a bat and too much anger.

The sight of smashed out windshields took everybody by surprise this morning at the Match Auto Body Shop. Jerome Porter had to come and see it for himself. He was watching News 9's live report when he saw his car in the background.

"I saw the shop and my car," said Porter. "I was furious!"

He still can't believe his car was one of the ones targeted in the overnight rampage. In all, a total of 16 cars had their front, back or side window smashed out at the corner shop.

There was also a truck that was hit about a block away on Barnes Avenue. Police say it all stemmed from an early morning fight between a man and a woman. The man then took off with a bat, and did all this damage.

And now workers at the car repair shop are busy calling the owners of these cars to tell them what happened, and making sure all the shattered glass is replaced before they pick their cars up.

As for Porter, he just wants the person responsible caught.

"What goes through a person's mind that does something like this?" questions Porter. "I don't know. I hope they catch the person and hold him accountable."

Police say they do have an ID on the person responsible, but want anyone who saw what happened to call OKC Crimestoppers with what they saw.
