Child Injured After Being Hit By Car In Moore; Driver Arrested For DUI

A boy was injured after being hit by a car at a Moore apartment complex Monday afternoon. The driver involved in the crash has been taken into custody on DUI charges.

Moore firefighters and police officers responded to the crash at a out 5:30 p.m. Monday, at the Haydens Landing Apartments, located at 921 N.E. 12th Street in Moore.

Police say a boy who is about 10 years old received minor injuries after being hit by the car. The driver involved in the crash was taken into custody for drunk driving.

Police have not released the identity of the driver.
