EagleMed Holds Memorial Service For Helicopter Crash Victims

Hundreds of mourners are expected to attend a memorial service Saturday for two men killed when a medical helicopter crashed in northwest Oklahoma City.

Hundreds of mourners are expected to attend a memorial service Saturday for two men killed when a medical helicopter crashed in northwest Oklahoma City.

The EagleMed helicopter went down February 22 near NW Expressway and Council. Pilot Mark Montgomery and flight nurse Chris Denning were killed. Medic Billy Wynne survived and is hospitalized in Dallas.

The families of Montgomery and Denning held private, separate funerals for the men Friday in Norman and Yukon. EagleMed will hold a memorial service for both men Saturday, March 2, at Crossings Community Church in Oklahoma City.

EagleMed recently released this statement:

"The EagleMed family would like to express our gratitude for the wonderful support and assistance that has been received following this tragedy. Please keep Mark and Chris's family and friends in your thoughts and prayers in the days ahead."
