Monday's winter storm is wreaking havoc with Enid's water department. The storm knocked out power, which has made it difficult to supply water throughout the city.
A representative says the water department is working around the clock, and using generators to restore water service. Unfortunately, snow drifts are making it difficult for crews to complete their work.
According to OG&E, about 5,000 customers are still without power in Enid. The power company hopes to restore service to all customers by Wednesday night.
