NORMAN, Oklahoma - According to reports, Oklahoma has hired current Michigan defensive line coach Jerry Montgomery to fill its open defensive line coach position.

Scout.com's Michigan site, GoBlueWolverine.com, was the first to report Montgomery's departure from Ann Arbor.

Montgomery has been the line coach at Michigan for the past two seasons. Before that, Montgomery was the defensive line coach at Wyoming.

Montgomery is a graduate of Iowa, giving the Sooners four Hawkeyes on their coaching staff.
