Oklahoma State's Toni Young was named the Phillips 66 Big 12 Women's Basketball Player of the Week. For the senior, it marked her second player of the week award this season and the third of her career.

The Del City, Okla., native averaged 17.5 points and 17 rebounds while shooting 56.7 percent (17-of-30) from the field in OSU's wins over West Virginia and K-State last week. She logged double-doubles in both games and now has 11 for the season and 32 in her career.

Young recorded 12 points, 16 rebounds, six blocks, three steals and an assist against the Mountaineers. Her six blocks moved her into first place on the school's all-time list. Young followed up with 23 points and 18 rebounds against K-State on Saturday.

She was also named the league's player of the week on Dec. 31 after her MVP performance at the Surf `N Slam Classic in San Diego.

Young and the 23rd-ranked Cowgirls will be back in action on Wednesday at TCU at 7 p.m.
