Texhoma's Beattie Signs With OBU Football

Texhoma High School's Bryson Beattie has signed to play football at Oklahoma Baptist University.

Texhoma High School's Bryson Beattie has signed to play football at Oklahoma Baptist University.

A 5-10, 175-pound defensive back, Beattie was District A1 MVP in 2012 and an All-Star by Class in 2012 at both defensive back and running back. He also was All-District at running back in 2011 for Coach Aaron Witten.

A three-year State qualifier in track, Beattie finished his football career with 5000 total yards and 65 touchdowns and 250 tackles and nine interceptions.

The son of Chris and Charissa Beattie, Bryson said he is coming to OBU "to be a part of the first team to bring football back to OBU."
