Accident Critically Injures Woman Checking On Dog In Southeast OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY -

One woman is critically injured after being struck by a car in southeast Oklahoma City.

It happened along Sooner Road near S.E. 84th Street when police say 23-year-old Jennifer Stursa stepped into the right lane of traffic while checking on a dog. She was hit by a vehicle.

Police say the driver was not at fault. Stursa was transported to a local hospital in critical condition, but is not expected to live.

The accident is under investigation.
